The Great Pagoda Hall has the largest and most beautiful Tibetan ceiling frescos. With its private rooftop terrace with view of the Swayambhunath Stupa - the Great Pagoda Hall is one of the most unforgettable spaces in Asia. Here every Tuesday evening the Kala-Mandap dance troop performs the trantric dances of Nepal. The Pagoda Hall is ideal for classical music concerts, art and spiritual events. Our house guests are welcome to use it for yoga, meditation and group meetings. For those who wish to create a truly unforgettable event, the Pagoda Hall and its terrace are also available for private banquets and parties.

Guests Reviews

I love the Vajra. The gardens were a haven after a chaotic day in Kathmandu. The staff was friendly and professional and all of our needs were seen to completely and immediately. I would recommend the Vajra to anyone coming to the Mountains of Nepal. I was also surprised that the food was so delicious. And what a splendid way to end the day on the roof top bar. I am hoping to do business in Nepal and will regard the Vajra as my home away from home when ever I come to Kathmandu.
